Orbis is a charity working to eliminate avoidable blindness. Shockingly, 90% of vision loss is preventable or treatable. That means that at least 771 million adults and children would be able to see today if they had received surgery, treatment, or glasses. In countries like Ethiopia, when sight is restored, it means so much. Not just to an individual, but also to their family, and the local economy, breaking the cycle of poverty.
