Orbis and Pfizer have work side by side to tackle trachoma, the leading infectious cause of blindness. Through the donation of antibiotics and community-based programmes, this partnership has already protected millions of people in Ethiopia from avoidable vision loss — and now plans are underway to expand even further.

Standard Chartered supports Orbis’s “Seeing Is Believing” global community fundraising project which aims to serve China's blind population.

A&L Goodbody

In 2024, A&L Goodbody celebrated the 10th anniversary of the ALG Aviation Finance Run, the annual 5km event held each January in conjunction with the Growth Frontiers Conference. This long-standing tradition has become a highlight of the aviation finance calendar, bringing the industry together to raise funds for Orbis Ireland’s sight-saving work.

AerCap

For over a decade, AerCap, the world’s leading aircraft leasing company, has been a steadfast supporter of Orbis Ireland. In 2024, AerCap employees once again joined the Great Ethiopian Run delegation. They took part in the Orbis Virtual Challenge – RUN 20/20. The company also hosted a table at the annual Gift of Sight Ball.

Based in Dublin, Airbus Financial Services (AFS) is a long-standing partner of Orbis Ireland. AFS has consistently supported our mission to end avoidable blindness.
