Orbis Board Members

Maurice Cox is the Founder and Chairman of Orbis Ireland. Dr. Cox co-founded Centric Health.

Ray Power is a practicing GP. He established Locumotion, a medical recruitment company and co-founded Centric Health with Maurice Cox.

Anne Nolan is an International Health Development Specialist/Consultant with over thirty years’ experience working primarily in African countries. She is very knowledgeable about health in Ethiopia having worked there for over eight years.

Cathy Gaynor is an Independent Development Consultant working on planning, appraisal and evaluation of socio-economic development programmes. She has worked extensively in Africa, including Ethiopia.

John Crowe is the founder and CEO of Kestrel Capital Ltd, an independent private investment advisory firm.

Clare O’Dea is a Director of Select Strategies. Clare previously worked with KPMG and Ulster Bank Investment Managers.

Michael Boyd has worked in international development since 1975. Michael is also a member of the Orbis UK Board.

Michael Holland is Chairman of the Ampleforth Group of Companies. His business interests cover financial investment, property development, hotel ownership and management.

Carina Ryan is a Manager in Aircraft Trading for Goshawk. Prior to Goshawk, Carina worked at AWAS and CIT Aerospace.

Donal Brosnahan is a paediatric Ophthalmologist. Donal is a member of the Orbis Volunteer Faculty (managed by Orbis International).

Trevor Lydon is the Chief Financial Officer of Airbus Financial Services UC, a subsidiary of the European aircraft manufacturer, Airbus SAS.

Raymond (Ray) Sisson is Chairman of SCALE Aviation and a Managing Director at Credit Suisse. He has held a number of senior positions in global corporations, including AWAS and GECAS.

Jennifer Moulton is a qualified accountant with almost twenty years’ experience in aircraft leasing. Jennifer is currently Managing Director EMEA Sales for DAE Capital.

Paul Boyle is Senior Vice President Airline Marketing EMEA with Avolon. Paul has held various positions in the aircraft leasing space over the past twenty-seven years, most recently as VP Leasing in AerCap.

Bethlehem Girma is a senior inclusive finance expert who has worked in areas of Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) and rural finance using the market systems approaches/ the Market for the poor(M4P). She is currently the Finance Intervention Manager for LIFT (Land Investment for Transformation Programme) in Ethiopia. Bethlehem holds master’s in Accounting and Finance from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. Currently, she is pursuing her Masters programme in Development Practice (MDP) at Trinity College Dublin.

Heran Tadesse is an experienced gender and public health professional with a demonstrated history of working in the non-profit and for-profit organizations. Skilled in Research, Policy Analysis, Capacity Building, Program Management and Mainstreaming Gender in the broader aspects of Social development programs. She is strong team leader and technical assistance provider with a profound dedication for women and girls’ rights, health and empowerment.
